Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Hands-on experience with any Test Automation framework and Automation scripting is expected. A good understanding of various testing concepts/techniques, functional testing, API testing, and test case creation is preferred. TRIRIGA Product knowledge would be an added advantage. The role seeks good levels of personal organization and the ability to work well within a distributed global team in a fast-paced and exciting environment. You will be office-based, working with senior software engineers who will help you integrate into the team, the department, and wider IBM. You will be joining an Automation team responsible for complete Test automation and Agile principles where you are expected to collaboratively develop creative solutions. The work can be varied, and flexibility to learn new technologies and skills is key as we look to help grow your career within IBM. A positive attitude and a passion to succeed is essential in joining a high-performing software development team at IBM.
Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseMinimum of 6-8 years of Software Product development experience.Strong development experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, SASS, and NodeJS.Experience with TRIRIGA tools like BO, workflow, query, and UX designer.Experience of frontend and backend technologies for web application development using React framework, redux, redux-observable, IBM Carbon React components, Material UI React components, HTML5, SASS, Web Accessibility, Jest framework, React testing-library, NodeJS, REST API development, web components, Google Polymer, Service worker API, History API, Geolocation API, Web Storage API, Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft Outlook Add-ons.Experience in UI Test Automation technologies such as Selenium, etc.Experience with agile software development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseKnowledge of Java, Java Servlet and Spring, Liberty WebSphere, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, SSO with OAuth, webpack.Ability to troubleshoot and debug independently, creatively come up with solutions, and good communication skills.
