Be More Than You Can Imagine.LM Aeronautics Global Readiness Solutions has a requirement for an ALIS Site Activation Network Engineer Staff - Level 4 to provide technical support to the Lockheed Martin F-35 Logistics Information System (LIS) Site Activation team. This LM Aero position supports shipboard and shore-based interoperability and F-35 ALIS/ODIN Ship/Site Activation processes associated with F-35 customer sites – both US and international. Position requires a working knowledge of US Government, International Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS), IT infrastructure designs, and Information Systems policies and procedures.This position requires >50% domestic and international travel.The successful candidate will engage with the design and sustainment of global F-35 site activations with emphasis on network interoperability, systems applications, analysis, and information security. Will provide specific interoperability requirements, Concept of Operations, and will support all aspects of the Logistics Information System Site Activation team based in Fort Worth, TX or Orlando, FL.Typical duties include but are not limited to:Contributing to the LIS Site Activation team supporting non-annualized and annualized contract scopeProviding technical guidance supporting systems schematics, network diagrams, and other program documentation to assist with development and preparation of cost estimatesInteracting daily with LM site activation teams and Joint Program Office representatives supporting and coordinating hardware installations with customer personnel, LM lines of business, and other industry partnersPerform network infrastructure site surveys at customer sitesGenerating and reviewing team members system documentation including - Network Diagrams, Rack Elevations, Plate/Panel Details, Electrical load specification, and HVAC heat loadsSupport troubleshooting efforts of both LM and industry partner designated program equipmentProviding technical assistance to clients relating to operation, use, and maintenance of LM/GFE workstations and network equipmentWorking with customers and internal personnel to manage related IT Ship/Site Activation projects and provide customer service and technical supportResponsible for monitoring of LM Commercial Circuits, domestic and international, supporting all US Government, international partner, and FMS Logistic Information Systems to include ongoing sustainment and interfacing with LM business units during troubleshooting effortsSupporting COMSEC Management efforts to support the F-35 LIS programSupporting team coordination and scheduling, LIS Site Activation team efforts including technical specifications, interface control, interoperability concepts, deployment and production support, inventory and administrative information tracking, maintenance tracking, and vendor managementThe successful candidate must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to obtain/maintain Program access.Basic Qualifications:Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearanceDemonstrated experience with enterprise-level Networking SystemsDemonstrated experience with informally or formally leading a project team or team of employeesAbility to travel, both domestic and internationalDesired Skills:Previous Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience. In particular, networking and infrastructure.
