We're in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable technical selling professional with education industry experience to drive the adoption of Adobe's Education offerings- Adobe Express, Creative Cloud, and Document Cloud within the US higher education landscape. Reporting to the North American Education Solution Consulting Director, you will play a key role on our higher education sales team's selling and driving regional Go-To-Market initiatives, building and cultivating vital partnerships with institutions that define Adobe's future in education. Your primary sphere of influence will be among academic leaders and executive administrators within the higher education sector, both at the local and national levels.What you'll doHands-on demonstrations of Adobe Creative / Document Cloud applications such as Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Sign to help customers reimagine education and student outcomes, share technical deployment best practices to drive consistent and growing active use.Collaborate with our marketing team in their execution of Adobe led customer-facing events, further solidifying Adobe's influence within the education sector.Establish a presence for Adobe at higher education industry events that will improve Adobe's market perception and thought leadership among the key decision makers.Enabling customers to more fully adopt Adobe Creative and Document Cloud solutions.Effective discovery of customer needs.Work on a team of dedicated Solution Consultants focused on presenting to academic leaders and conveying the educational and institutional benefits of Adobe Express, Creative Cloud and Document Cloud in teaching and learning.What you need to succeedExisting skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative and Document Cloud applications and services.Articulate with a consultative approach.Good in front of a crowd and can persuasively present your ideas.Flexible and able to work in a complex environment and switch contexts when necessary.Proven ability to create a value proposition, and to effect change in your environment through persuasive storytelling as well as research/data proof points.Adept at managing and growing in a complex, highly matrixed setting, with a strong skill for leading through influence.Strong interpersonal skills in developing strong, lasting relationships with multiple team members, partners, and customers.Ability to learn new technology quickly.Some travel required.Desired ExperienceCollege degree.Experience of 5 years or more in a technical role preferably customer-facing experience working as a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, etc.Knowledge of the North American higher education market, complemented by a well-established network within the U.S. higher education community, and expertise in areas such as student recruitment, enrollment, student experience, and student success is highly valuable.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $194,900 -- $314,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
