#CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Associate Director in Business Solutions & Innovation, individual contributor, will join an established team and be responsible for initiatives that build our strategic innovation pipeline to deliver on short & long term growth aspirations through a customer and sales enabled lens. Create support for Innovation growth through strategic innovation sales leadership and customer focused initiatives.Explore this exciting opportunity to shape the innovation pipeline and capabilities for Clorox Professional (the Business to Business (B2B) Business unit within the Clorox Company) and to deliver on our purpose to Champion a Cleaner and Healthier World Where Everyone Thrives. Preference will be given to individuals with sales and B2B experience to enable a faster learning curve for LEC (Leading Edge Customers such as Medline, Home Depot, Amazon, Staples) and Customer Facing initiatives. This role reports to the Senior Director of Innovation & R&D, Clorox Professional.This position will be located in our Pleasanton, CA office, and the individual will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week. Relocation assistance will be offered.In this role, you will:Evaluating white space opportunities (new verticals; potential partner; and related go to market needs (Value Chain through Business Model))Shaping CloroxPro and Company platform messages into compelling customer presentations/ sales stories (ESG, Growth Platforms, etc).Leading discoveries with end user & customer-forward big ideas (LEC led initiatives; large solution focused initiatives)Monitoring key industry/customer signals and tensions to ensure MegaTrends as well as scaled Innovation Platforms remain relevant/fresh.What we look for:Experience Required:Bachelor's degree. MBA or Masters a plus.7 – 9 years relevant experience, including 2-3 Years Sales experience, preferably in B2B industry.A track record of creating new fields of opportunity and/or successfully launching and scaling innovative products.Skills Required:Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with experience coaching cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.Deep understanding of and curiosity for end user/industry insights and competitive intelligence, with the ability to translate ambiguous findings into actionable strategies and opportunity platforms.Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting new spaces and budgeting.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors.Workplace type:This position will be located in our Pleasanton, CA office, and the individual will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week.
