Our tech fuels billions of transactions per day!The Director, Product Management will lead the prioritization, design, and execution of our Curator Marketplace product and features at Magnite, Inc. Curator Marketplace is an offering within our Demand Solutions portfolio, which is aimed at empowering buy-side partners to take more control of their supply strategies. You will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to bring leading-edge products to market. In this role, you will lead various teams through ideation, prioritization, execution, go-to-market, and adoption. We are looking for someone who can operate at both the strategic and feature detail level, engage with internal and external stakeholders, have a passion for building innovative technologies, work with a strong bias to action, and build and grow product teams.In this role you will:
Develop the long-term vision for the Curator Marketplace offering, including opportunities for differentiation as well as alignment to evolving market themes.Build and grow teams that use detailed analysis to make informed, data-driven decisions.Work with customers and internal partners across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Product Management to assess the technical feasibility of features, prioritize work, manage product roadmaps, develop product specifications, and GTM strategies.Lead the process to document feature requests, implement prioritization frameworks, and partner with Engineering to plan sprints and longer-term roadmaps.Surface technical and scope trade-offs to allow the organization to make informed decisions.Define, develop, and execute the roadmap and performance metrics for the Curator Marketplace offering.Implement frameworks that enable productive dialogue with Engineering teams to develop product specifications, data flows, and tracking requirements.Negotiate with Engineering and other product managers on features and functionalities to be included in each release.Collaborate with Product and Engineering to bring solutions to market on time and on budget.Ensure effective GTM planning with Commercial and Operations teams including producing necessary supporting documentation and training.We're looking for someone with:
8+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, and/or software product management working in complex cross-functional environments on large-scale enterprise platforms.Deep expertise and understanding of the online display, mobile, video, and OTT advertising space from a publisher, exchange, and buy-side perspective.Strong domain expertise in one or more areas of programmatic such as Agency, DSP, SSP, etc. is a strong plus.Ability to understand technical systems and concepts in order to engage with Engineering counterparts on product implementation decisions.Knowledge of technical standards and programming languages commonly used in ad tech and programmatic is a strong plus.Past demonstrated success managing complex products and integrations in medium to large organizations; experience in environments where a new product was taken to market successfully is a plus.Deep knowledge and understanding of software development best practices.An ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization, ranging from detailed product documentation to executive-level presentations.An ability to serve as an external representative of Magnite, interfacing with customers to support feature prioritization, as well as serve as an expert to support sales activities.Relevant degree(s) and/or related work experience: Technical background is a plus.BS/MS in Computer Science and Business or equivalent hands-on experience indicating strong technical AND business background.Total Rewards Include:
