Your work will drive innovation, streamline operations, and optimize GCS systems to be customer-centric, contributing to Pfizer's industry leadership and mission to improve lives worldwide within a culture that values diversity and empowers positive change.The product area for this position is GCS’ Patient, Site, and Study products, which focuses on digital systems and technology that interact with and support our clinical sites, our clinical study teams, and our patients. The products in this area include our Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system for managing site distribution and patient randomization and dispensing, site mobile apps, and supporting systems.How You Will Achieve ItAs the Director, GCS Business Technology Integration, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies for process and technology integration that advance GCS' business objectives. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of our clinical supply chain systems, from initial concept to decommissioning, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, and will identify and coordinate process improvements in alignment with those systems. By maximizing process and technology together, you will deliver value to our customers, changing the way they work, and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.Collaboration and leadership are key in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams – providing guidance and motivation – to ensure seamless integration of supply chain systems with other business systems. You will manage relationships with partners and service providers. You will also oversee the definition and application of relevant metrics, and will monitor improvements through those measurements, presenting regularly to senior management.Additional responsibilities include:Budget management, making cost-effective decisions regarding system upgrades, maintenance, and staff trainingExpanding your business expertise across other GCS product areas to maximize effective technology delivery across our entire ecosystemStaying updated on the latest trends and technologies in supply chain systemsEnsuring that all supply chain systems are secure and maintain data integrityContributing to the strategic planning and direction of the organization, providing insights and recommendations based on your expertise in clinical supply chain systemsPrioritizing improvements to meet the most urgent needs of our customersRepresenting your Product Area in cross-product and governance meetingsEnsuring controls are in place and monitoring risk to maintain quality and to support audits and inspectionsThis role is a highly visible, critical position which requires a self-starter with strong leadership and influencing skills who can advocate, mobilize support, deeply understand GCS systems, and design and implement process, system and line improvements with urgency.Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)You hold a bachelor’s degree and 10 years in IRT, clinical supply chain, or a related fieldExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, to develop and coach others, and to oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomesStrong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholdersBonus Points If You HaveAn advanced degree in supply chain, science, or engineering5 years’ experience clinical systems and technologyFamiliarity with supply chain software applications, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or JDA.Experience in product management, business strategy, or market researchDemonstrated experience establishing and monitoring metrics to guide and drive process and/or technology improvementsA deep understanding of supply chain processes and systems, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, and distributionNON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTSNo more than 15% travel may be involved for business purposes.Relocation support availableWork Location Assignment: HybridThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
