We provide cutting-edge products and services that enhance the trading journey.About You:NinjaTrader’s Data Science & Analytics team is responsible for helping users and stakeholders make decisions using data and insights. As part of the team, the Analytics Engineer will be responsible for architecting, transforming, and exposing NinjaTrader’s data to end users and systems.What you’ll do:Architect data models using tools like dbt and Looker to surface metrics and insights to business stakeholders.Maintain data quality through testing.Maintain data availability and scalability through thoughtful materialization and orchestration strategies.Maintain data discoverability through documentation and educating stakeholders on BI tools.Develop and encourage SQL and data modelling best practices among data analysts and data scientists.Develop and deploy scalable patterns in the transformation layer and BI tools.Work with security engineers to design and maintain data governance in our data warehouse and BI tools.Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and operations teams.What you need:Exceptional SQL skills.Experience using dbt to build and test data models.Experience architecting data to balance performance and usability.Experience with analytics databases like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.Experience with dashboarding tools like Looker or Tableau.Experience or familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.At least 3 years of experience working with databases and BI tools.Our Core Benefits Include:Hybrid Schedule with Extra Remote Flexibility ( Totalling over 55% remote time )Generous PTO7 Paid Holidays Annually + 5 Conditional Holidays Annually1 Service Day Annually401k with 3.5% Company MatchLife and Disability Insurance Covered 100% by NinjaTraderFlexible Spending Accounts for Transit and ParkingWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
