How you will create impact:
As a Principal Software Engineer (Full Stack) at AIG, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions that solve complex business challenges. You will work in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with teams and leveraging AI coding assistants to create impactful applications that improve and innovate business processes.
Your responsibilities include:
Collaborating with product owners and IT leads to translate high-level business requirements into functional, well-architected software solutions.
Developing new or enhancing existing user interfaces using AIG’s proprietary Angular framework.
Writing and maintaining high-quality, reusable code that adheres to AIG's design patterns and coding standards.
Creating robust unit tests to ensure code quality.
Building and integrating business services using MuleSoft.
Working with Agile scrum teams to drive best practices and participate in code reviews.
What is needed to be successful:
You are highly proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Python.
You have hands-on experience writing services that interact with relational and NoSQL databases.
You are comfortable working with cloud-native technologies such as Terraform, AWS Lambda, and API Gateways.
You have solid experience deploying solutions on major cloud providers (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
You have a strong understanding of CI/CD best practices.
You are skilled in front-end development, with experience using Angular or similar frameworks.
You excel at working within Agile teams, driving collaboration, and applying strong problem-solving skills.
It would be nice if:
You have experience using MuleSoft for developing and integrating enterprise-level services.
You enjoy mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing.
You have a solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and various security protocols.
