You have a strong sense of quality and know what makes games enjoyable for players. You have experience leading a test team to efficiently cover large scale, dynamic products to find and document defects and identify areas that need improvement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can communicate high level or detailed information to a wide variety of stakeholders. You are a key member of the game development team and a trusted partner able to hold complete knowledge of each area of the product, its status, and quality level. You have worked at a game developer shipping and operating LiveOps games with regular release cadences. You’re looking for an opportunity to build the future of VR games.QA Lead, BigBox VR Responsibilities

Lead a team of testers embedded at the developer.Coordinate with external test vendors to ensure tests are completed and results are reported efficiently and clearly to the team.Define, develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of the product.Create dashboards and views that communicate the status and priority of work in progress.Actively work in a VR headset multiple hours a day (5+ hours) in a fast-paced game, identifying defects and quality concerns.Work closely with the development team to review and validate work in headset as builds are completed.Create clear and concise bug reports and feedback for features and defects.Research and add clarifying information for issues that are difficult to reproduce.Assist in the triage of issues as they are reported, prioritize and work with the production team to assign to the proper team members.Track test results against success criteria for functionality, performance, and stability.Assist in playtest coordination with external test teams and the studio.Provide product and gameplay feedback on our game as compared to the competition.Own the testing and signoff of recurring releases for a live service game.Assist with release deployment process and live testing.Support studio feature and release teams as needed.Minimum Qualifications

3+ years as a QA Lead on a game development team.5+ years of experience as a QA Tester.Experience with test methodologies, creating test plans, test cases, and using profiling and debugging tools.Experience leading other testers on a product and ensuring efficient and thorough coverage.Experience contributing to the success of a Live Product by ensuring quality releases on a recurring cadence, a key piece of the development process.Experience with attention to detail, communication of test schedule, results, and next steps embedded with the development team.In-depth understanding of Game Development Cycle, QA Strategy, root cause analysis and risk-management strategies.Experience multitasking and prioritizing multiple tasks with little to no guidance for your work and the QA team as a whole.Expert level knowledge of JIRA and Google Suite.Preferred Qualifications

$73,000/year to $101,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
