When you join our team, you'll work across our dynamic portfolio including Peacock, NOW, Fandango, SkyShowtime, Showmax, and TV Everywhere, powering streaming across more than 70 countries globally. This role reports to the Sr. Design Director, Partnerships Activation.Primary focusThe Commerce Product Design Team cares for the UX of the user who wants to sign up, purchase, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their subscription. This role will mentor, conceive, define, design, develop, test, and launch vivid and compelling experiences that are contextually relevant, exceedingly useful, and will drive results.Key ResponsibilitiesPresent vision, strategy, and data-informed design solutions to all audiences. Formulate and communicate ideas and plans to peers, leadership, and engineering contributors.Balance inputs from business, design, research, technology, and external partners. Create a network of cross-functional partners. Build rapport and earn trust.Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and other internal partners to define the strategy & experience of consumer facing products.Deliver end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products.Translate requirements to flows that can leverage from existing flow and/or establish new flows.Provide creative thought leadership and drive UX design solutions by combining industry best practices with your own expertise and insight about human behavior.Lead design thinking exercises for cross-functional ideation and concept exploration.Work with foundational leads, such as— UX research, UX engineer, UX design systems lead, and also UX content design/UX writer.Grow talent. Provide creative direction and mentorship to designers and define patterns and practices for the team and the product.Have a human-centered design approach to how to evolve our output and process.Maintain a critical eye, and an obsessive attention to detail.Be an ambassador to a healthy and collaborative culture for our product organization.QualificationsSeasoned user experience skills with relentlessly high standards, and deep operational knowledge and expertise in every aspect of UX and product design.Strong research and analysis skills, arising from a desire to learn and ground decisions using data and consumer insights.Mature & strong communication and presentation skills —able to articulate your point-of-view and engage in fact-based discourse.Strong partnering skills with senior product and business leaders including the Executive team on strategy and execution.Resilience that enables you to feel at home in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.Robust prioritization skills that enable you to work on multiple tracks and pivot from one project to another.Essential Knowledge and Experience:7+ years industry experience in the field of UX/Product Design.A degree in design, computer science, or human factors.Service design work you have led, including service blueprints and multi-touchpoint, cross-domain user journeys.You have worked on commerce UX in the past that focused on rewards or loyalty programs.An online portfolio reflecting that experience, including shipped and currently in-market products, and demonstrating end-to-end design methodology.Advanced expertise with leading design tools, including the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Sketch, Figma, and other collaboration and prototyping tools.Demonstrated expertise and experience designing for web, mobile, and other application platforms.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
