Responsibilities of
Wound Care Nurse/ RN (WCC, WOCN):
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
Complete wound treatments for residents in skilled nursing facility.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate resident condition.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Coordinate with wound care providers, oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
Provide resident specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
Wound Care Nurse/ RN (WCC, WOCN)
duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents’ care, and implementation of schedules for residents.

Some wound care experience preferred.
Certification preferred but not required.
Minimum Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
