We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to join our team and optimize the health, safety, and well-being of student athletes participating in school-sanctioned athletics. The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in preventing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating orthopedic injuries and conditions among our designated student population. Athletic Trainers that work in our community play a major role in the active individual’s life, preventing injury and helping provide care after an injury! Join St Joseph and make a difference!Key Responsibilities:On-Site Coordination:
Provide athletic training services at various area schools during practices and contests.Injury Evaluation:
Conduct initial injury evaluations and ensure proper supervision and monitoring of rehabilitation programs.Documentation:
Maintain complete and accurate files on all interactions and treatments provided to student athletes.Safety Compliance:
Educate athletes on safety and injury prevention techniques, and prepare accident reports as needed.Injury Screening:
Evaluate and screen athletes for potential injuries related to previous conditions.Timely Response:
Provide prompt and appropriate evaluation of injuries and illnesses sustained by students during athletic activities.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, sports medicine or related field from an accredited academic programCertification in the State of Indiana as an Athletic TrainerNew graduates from an accredited college are welcome to apply
