Job Duties/Expectations:

This Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for scheduling all pre-procedure testing including but not limited to, Echo, Stress test, CT scan, Lab work, for all TAVR and Watchman procedures. Departmental and Patient education, handouts, marketing, and phone calls. They coordinate with the OR team, Cardiologists, Cardiovascular surgeons, and Anesthesiologists to schedule the TAVR procedure and the Cath Lab, Cardiologists, and Anesthesiologists for the Watchman procedure, as well as product vendors. Also includes scheduling all post procedure clinic appointments and scans for both Watchman and TAVR patients. This position also works with the coding team to ensure the patient has the right diagnosis and Insurance coverage to have approval with the insurance companies. Duties also include TAVR Registry and community outreach and in-services.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. The Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.

What You'll Do

* You, as a Registered Nurse (RN), will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.* Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families.* Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues.* You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly.* Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.* You'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.* Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth. Contribute to peers' development, show community service commitment.

What Will Make You Successful In The Role

* A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.* Know nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area. Qualifications

* Grad of an Accredited Program* Specialized field of study should be nursing.* A current and valid nursing license.* Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
