**Call** : Share of practice call and Orthopedic Hospital call with other eligible members.

(SAMG) is a physician led 600+ provider multispecialty group that has an excellent opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) who is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and who is willing to support the needs of orthopedic and sports injuries as part of a larger employed orthopedic program.

Responsibilities include evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries and sport related concussions that present to the clinic.

This involves direct management of the patient including, but not limited to, the following exams, procedures and services:

multiple joint injections, splinting, casting, bracing, history and physicals, proper referral placement, and management of both acute conditions as well as chronic, non-surgical conditions.

The advanced practice provider would be responsible for ordering, interpreting and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic data, prescribing medications, and developing a treatment plan.

The qualified candidate will exude passion about orthopedic health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities.

The desirable candidate will also have prior experience assisting orthopedic procedures in the hospital operating room.

**Support:**

24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level II Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM, UC, specialty clinics and ancillary services on-site; community primary and specialty care clinics.

**Requirements** :

+ Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho and Oregon; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho and Oregon; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.

+ strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
