Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical Gynecology team. This role offers the opportunity to work across our three key subspecialties: Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), and Urogynecology. The APP will collaborate with our specialized surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

* First-assisting in the operating room across subspecialties* Rounding and managing gynecologic surgery inpatients* Participating in a rotating call schedule (1 in 6 weeks)* Conducting independent APP clinic to assess, treat, and follow up with patients

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current FL RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP, ACNP.

Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the FL State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications:

Active BLS, ACLS and RN First Assist certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required.

Schedule Details

GYN APPs currently work (4) 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday. 7:30am - 5:30pm on week days. Schedule subject to change depending on department need. APPs share call with the Gynecology Fellows (currently 1 in 6 weeks).

Weekend Schedule

No scheduled work on weekends, on call duties apply.
