As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
to:Provide care to adult urology and urogynecology patients primarily in the area of women's health including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and overactive bladder in the department of UrologyWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in a primarily outpatient setting.Participate in weekly urology academic conferences.Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to: catheter insertions, catheter changes, and complex bladder irrigation, pessary fitting, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS), InterStim device interrogation
Education:If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensureIf Nurse Practitioner*:Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
Family Practice Nurse PractitionerAdult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
If Physician Assistant*:Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
