Job Summary

Under the direction of the provider, the APRN is responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure patient health. Their duties include speaking with their patients about healthy lifestyle choices for their age, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain updated medical records.

Essential Job Functions

Provide primary care to patients

Provide patient education

Perform initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations

Set up and monitor medical equipment

Order and administer diagnostic tests

Communicate test results to patients and their families

Record patient medical histories

Operate and maintain medical equipment

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills

Master of Science in Nursing. Doctorate in Nursing preferred.
