Personal Care Attendant (PCA)Focal Point Medical Staffing is hiring Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) for per diem (PRN) positions at one of our Assisted Living partners in Houston, TX! See below for full details and benefits.
Hourly Pay:

REQUIREDMost recent Negative PPD (within the last 12 months) OR Chest X-ray (within the last 5 years)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamReliable transportationEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist patients with daily needs, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and personal hygieneMonitor and record vital signs, blood glucose, and other patient information as directedAdminister medications to patients as prescribed by the physician or nurseAssist patients in therapy and rehabilitation programsAssist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patientsProvide emotional and psychological support to patients and their familiesReport any changes in patient condition or behavior to the registered nurse or licensed practical nurseDocument patient care activities accurately and in a timely mannerWorking Conditions: The PCA will be required to work in a healthcare facility, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
