Your day.

As a Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery, you'll work with 5 Physicians to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with 2 other Advanced Practitioners.You would practice at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, COYour hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm plus callThis position will primarily support our Foot and Ankle/Podiatrists with cross coverage to the other Ortho SurgeonsYou'll be on call approximately 1 night per week and every 4th weekendThis is a very busy, high-volume practice

In this line of work every day is different, that's why you'll need to know how to:Act as surgical first assist in the ORProvide ortho consults in the Emergency Department as neededHandle casting and splintingProvide new patient consults in the clinic as needed

Your experience.

But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:Physician Assistant degree from a fully accredited programUnrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado or able to obtainBLS, DEA, and full prescriptive authorityMinimum 2 years of experience as a PA, requiredExperience as a first assist in general, trauma or ortho, preferred
