Job Description

RN PreOp & PACU - PRN - Day Shift 1-2 shifts per week -

No Nights, No call, No Weekends!

Outstanding opportunity for an experienced PACU nurse in our busy outpatient Northwest Tucson Surgery Center located on the Northwest Medical Center campus. Minimum 2 years PACU experience preferred.

What you'll do:

You'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.

Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care for the pre and post-operative patient. Using critical skills and core knowledge of the surgical case, the RN anticipates the needs of the team and provides assistance to meet the needs of the patient.

Preps and recovers the intra-operative patient and assists physicians with procedures as needed and educates the patient and families. The Registered Nurse cares for the personal needs and comfort of patients post surgical procedures.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing

Experience:

Minimum 2 years PACU experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS and PALS
