As a Clinical Diagnostic Specialist, you will work with the Clinic Executive Director and have access to a Clinical Psychologist in your region/state for questions.
You will be responsible for writing the evaluation report, providing feedback to parents, and conducting pre-assessments with parents before a doctor reviews the client's results. This role will mainly be responsible for neuropsychological and autism diagnostic assessments. This is NOT a counseling/psychotherapy/ABA role.
What You'll DoAdminister tests to clients /familiesComplete pre-assessments with clients/familiesComplete accurate hand scoring of pencil/paper and computer testsEnsure that written documentation is completed and uploaded in a timely manner per departmental policyComply with ABA Centers of America's HIPAA privacy and security policiesWork together as part of a multidisciplinary teamAttend weekly group/individual supervision, Clinical Training Meetings, and ContinuingEducation (Weekly Didactic Meeting)
Requirements
Education/Experience and Other RequirementsMaster's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with experience testing/assessing for Autism Spectrum DisorderLCSW certification is a plusExperience as a technician strongly preferredKnowledge of autism and coursework in assessment/testing of ASD and related disorders, intellectual disability, developmental disabilities, and learning disordersExperience with tests/measures used to identify/diagnose ASD, such as:
ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)CARS-2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale)Vineland Adaptive Behavior ScalesSensory ProfileSRS-2 (Social Responsiveness Scale)BASC-3 (Behavior Assessment System for Children)BRIEF-2 (Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function)Weschler Intelligence ScalesDevelopmental Assessment of Young ChildrenKauffman Brief Intelligence Test
