UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.PRN Shifts available:12-hour rounding shift;s 7a-7p10-hour admitting shifts; staggered: 11a-9p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a6-hour admitting shift; 5p-11pOvernights; 9p-7a; there are dedicated NocturnistsOpen ICU with intensivist availability to consultFull spectrum of specialty support available
Average census of 13-15No required procedures; option to do some limited ultrasound proceduresHospitalists are primary responders for codes unless intensivist takes overOvernight shifts covered by Nocturnists/TelehospitalistsAverage of 30 admits per day
MD or DOBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of WisconsinHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practiceWe offer
