Downtown College Prep (DCP) prepares first-generation students for college success and beyond. DCP was the first charter school in Silicon Valley and currently operates one high school and two middle schools in San Jose, CA. DCP currently serves students in grades 5-12.

Downtown College Prep was founded with the belief that all students, regardless of background and prior academic achievement, can and should be prepared for college success. Job Summary

To assist teacher(s) and/or other certificated personnel by performing a variety ofinstructional support duties to individual or small groups of Special Education pupils in aclassroom or resource environment encompassing a range of physical, emotional,intellectual, and communication disabilities; to assist in the establishment andmaintenance of appropriate classroom and site behavior; and to perform a routine ofclerical tasks as assigned.
