Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)The family nurse practitioner is responsible for providing health assessments, exams and screenings to adult patients in an outpatient mental health setting. The FNP will provide comprehensive, integrated health and mental health services to adults, 18 years and older, including assessment, diagnosis and management of health and mental health issues. The FNP will work collaboratively with the staff RNS and all members of the interdisciplinary team including therapists and psychiatrists. The FNP works collaboratively with agency health and mental health providers as well as community PCPs and health providers. The population served are individuals with a mental health and/or substance use disorder. Experience with this population is required. The FNP will lead the integrated model of including a patient's medical care in their behavioral health treatment plan while assisting them with linkage to the community.
Required experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.Certification/Licensure: BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required.Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
Education requirement: Masters of Science in Nursing required
Salary Range: $60/hr - $75/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
