Follow established nursing standards, procedures and practices, and gives patient care directions to nursing and other staff. Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consults with other specialists as required. Responsible for supervising, facilitating and coordinating the activities of nursing personnel for the provision of quality patient care during the assigned shift within the framework of the mission, vision and values of Baptist Health. Demonstrate the consistent ability to act as a role model providing direction in the application of the nursing process, quality improvement standards, and organizational and departmental goals and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Position requires successful passage of RN examination and a current AL nursing license.
