Command Center Analyst

As a member of the Command Center, the Trading Platform Systems Specialist role will be responsible for middle and back office functions relating to Comerica Wealth Management (WM) portfolios on the Envestnet platform. Daily interaction with internal investment colleagues and Envestnet is required. Team members will also be responsible for transitioning certain portfolios and reporting compliance exceptions to the Group head. This role will report directly to the Group Head of Command Center. The Risk Trading team members will be in Michigan, Texas, or California.

Position Responsibilities:

* Respond to questions from our Investment Professionals on a wide range of issues including performance measurement, investment policy exceptions, Reg 9 issues, approved securities, model construction, trading procedures, new account positioning, client portal, tax overlay services, IPSs, program selection and Preferred Portfolios on the Envestnet platform.* Analyze account problems related to trading, performance measurement, Reg 9, IP exceptions and client reports, that occur in production and work to resolve the issue.* For accounts not suited to Tax Overlay Services, manage transition process via model update, out of non-approved products and replace with approved products in line with Comerica Guidelines.* Maintain up to date knowledge of Comerica WM investment management approach, process, asset allocation guidelines, risk regions and approved (and no longer approved) strategies and products.* Monitor trading files for mutual funds, collective funds and equities daily. Address issues with Envestnet and/or Fiduciary Services & Operations to ensure correction prior to end of business day.* Cover Command Center and Account Opening mailboxes processing IPSs and new account set-up.* Provide support to Envestnet and IT on a variety of production related issues. Collect and analyze data to identify/evaluate operational and system issues and make recommendations to remediate.* Maintain list of waived securities on Envestnet platform.* Work with Envestnet, Trading and Mutual Fund unit to co-ordinate trade corrections and work with the field to proactively prevent trade errors through ongoing training.* Manage complex and long-term projects affecting the department and client facing professionals.* Participate in system tests/validations to ensure minimal successful rollout, including Reg 9 development.

Position Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance* 2 years of experience with back/middle office operations and portfolio management systems* 1 year of experience working with Envestnet, ComTRAC, or other trading, portfolio management or trust systems

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
