Neonatologist Position
About Us:405-person employed multi-specialty foundation with a state-of-the-art, 50,000 square-foot, $25 million birthing center built in 2021.Current Team:7 Pediatric Hospitalists (PEDS HOSP)
2 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Neonatologists
Neonatology LocumsKey Details:Projecting 80-100 deliveries per month
25 OB/GYNs in a service area of over 1 million people
PEDS HOSP are in-house 24/7, attending deliveries, admitting and caring for well-baby service, and caring for NICU babies overnight. Respiratory Therapist and RN attend all deliveries. RTs are certified for intubation.Neonatologist Role:Day-to-Day: See all patients in the NICU, conduct neonatal and prenatal consults, and attend all high-risk deliveries.
Evening/Night: Take call from home. PEDS HOSP handle straightforward NICU admissions; neonatologists come in for complicated cases.Facilities:8-bed NICU Level II
14 LDRP rooms, 2 ORs, 4 ante-partum rooms, and 7 post-partum roomsWork Schedule:24/7 shifts for 7 days every 2-3 weeks
Day (8 AM - 5 PM): Admit to NICU
