Advanced Practice Provider - Acute Care Surgery
Piedmont Columbus Regional is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Acute Care Surgery team at our Piedmont Columbus Midtown campus. This is a full- time position, 12 hours a day (7 days on Days/ 7 days Off).
In this role you will:
* Participate in the initial assessment and management of both acutely injured and emergency general surgery patients* Perform bedside procedures in the hospital setting* Rounding on patients in the hospital* Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the ICU* Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization* Have the possibility of first assist duties in the operating room

Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Emergency department experience as an RN/NP/PA in a busy trauma center is preferred.
