Clinical Nurse Leader - Cardiovascular Wellness
Who You Are:
Catholic Medical Center is seeking a seasoned nursing professional with a passion for cardiovascular wellness and a proven record of accomplishment of leadership in clinical settings. This person possesses strong interpersonal skill, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to handle stress and heavy workloads. This person's expertise includes guiding and mentoring clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and maintaining a high level of patient care.
What You'll Do:
* Provide clinical and technical leadership to supervise, direct, and schedule the work of clinical staff, develop and maintain competency based orientation plans for new clinical staff, and also direct the orientation and training as required.* Function as a staff nurse (~70% of the time), and assess clinical competency of staff, provide guidance, policies, procedures, and opportunities for education and development. Ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission, AACVPR, and other standards of care.* Maintain inventory and equipment for the cardiovascular wellness service. Rotate stock to eliminate outdated items. Evaluate new and existing equipment for performance, cost effectiveness and the ability to provide state of the art services.* Conduct staff meetings to discuss problems, needs, concerns and interventions as they pertain to departmental functions.* Provide direction for the ongoing development and implementation of cardiovascular wellness services.
What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required.* At least five (5) years of progressive, relevant professional experience with a minimum of three (3) years in management/supervisory roles.* Valid RN license in the State of New Hampshire.* Ability to obtain BCLS and ACLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
