The Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-Time, 40-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team through our Transition to Practice program to prep for future permanent role placement once the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant has exhibited proper clinical competency and developmental readiness. Our clinic is located at 10 Members Way, Suite 200, Dover, 03820. The weekly schedule will consist of 32 hours of clinical, patient-facing time and 8 hours of administrative time. The NP or PA will work in a clinical capacity on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with Thursday as a dedicated administrative day.

The demand for highly skilled, competent Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants is on the rise, especially in primary care. However, transitioning from a graduate program to autonomous practice can be challenging for new NPs and PAs due to the complexities of patient care and the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. To bridge this gap and help ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care, Wentworth Health Partners offers the Transition to Practice program to newly graduated NPs and PAs. The program represents a proactive approach to addressing the transition from education to practice for newly graduated NPs and PAs. By providing structured clinical experiences, mentorship, educational support, and exposure to specialties, the program aims to empower newly graduated NPs and PAs to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and to contribute to the advancement of healthcare delivery.
