GENERAL SUMMARY:

+

Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice.

+

Administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.

+

Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy.

+

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.

+

Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education:

+

High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
