Queens-Long Island Renal Institute, located on the lobby level of the renowned Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park, New York, is seeking full time LPN-Hemodialysis Nurses to join our team of professionals.
QLIRI provides state-of-the-art in-center hemodialysis treatment for kidney disease patients. Our experienced interdisciplinary team of nephrologists and renal nurses offer chronic dialysis services in a comfortable and modern setting. Located on the Queens-Nassau boarder, Queens-Long Island Renal Institute has a longstanding reputation for the finest quality of care, state-of-the-art technology and uncompromised dignity.
Hemodialysis LPNs at Queens Long Island Renal Institute are responsible for performing patient care on the dialysis unit. They collaborate with physicians and other health team members in coordinating and implementing procedures and treatments and use leadership skills/clinical judgment in coordinating patient care and directing/delegating activities of the patient care unit team. The LPNs are also responsible for monitoring patient progress and conditions requiring intervention, while providing skilled care under the direction of an RN.
The ideal candidate will have an active LPN license in New York State, and will have prior experience on a chronic dialysis unit.
