Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician.* Manage chronic illness care in partnership with physicians.* Diagnose and treat a wide range of healthcare issues.* Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and medication use.* Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.* Conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations.* Order and interpret diagnostic tests.* Prescribe medications within your scope of practice.* Promote preventive and health maintenance care through patient education and counseling.* Stay current with medical advancements and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications:

* Licensure: Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or Physician Assistant (PANCE).* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in primary or urgent care.* Skills: Proficient in using EMR systems, flexible with weekends and holidays, excellent communication skills, and a positive, patient-first attitude.
