1.To participate effectively as part of a team in the provision of services to students. Implement instructional and behavioral programs and related data collection, including ABA services.2.Work with students in Inclusion classes, pull-out classes, or individually, to reinforce lessons and skills introduced by the teacher.3.Maintain student, staff, and family confidentiality at all times.4.Assist with supervision of daily routines and schedules including meals, emergency drills, assemblies, recess, or field trips. This may include services such as feeding, toileting, diapering and assisting therapists as well as other services. Assist with functional data collection and share relevant information about learners with teachers and other school personnel as needed to facilitate problem solving, decision making, and program planning.5.Instruct assigned students on how to interact appropriately with other students and adults and encourage students' independence whenever possible.6.Assist with maintaining the safety of students in the school, playground, and community.7.Demonstrate flexibility, confidentiality and professional communication. Assist assigned teacher at all times with the curriculum, accommodations and modifications, and supervision of students.8.Exhibit a professional manner and appearance, and show enthusiasm for and interest in the student's instructional program.9.Read and help to implement individual student IEPs and learning plans.10.Participate in appropriate staff development as required to ensure professional growth.11.Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:1.The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects.2.The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 20 pounds occasionally.3.There is a frequent requirement of physical restraint of children with disabilities and frequent lifting of children. There is a frequent requirement of fine manipulation associated with the required use of a computer, typewriter, keyboard, calculator, and other business machines.
