We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open late 2024.

Job Description:
This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a yearAn average daily census of about 5 newbornsNNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from homePractitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care- The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 Neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away- Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the level III NICU in Gastonia may be possible; but would not be required, as this position is for the Level 1 nursery.Belmont Medical Center, is located just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 8 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which has non-stop flights to over 180 destinationsCaroMont Health has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of Thomson Reuters' Top 100 HospitalCandidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)Not accepting new graduate candidates - 2+ years' experience as NNP requiredNot accepting Locums candidatesCompensation and Benefits:Our clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package with many locations offering sign on bonuses, relocation and tuition reimbursement (to be discussed at interview).
