Employer Paid Health BenefitsJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that involves ensuring our engineering processes and products comply with the relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on safety, compliance, and regulatory matters. The Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to safety and quality, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers and regulatory bodies. Responsibilities: Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, national and international regulations. Conduct regular safety and compliance audits, identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability, and develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues. Review and approve engineering changes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Prepare compliance documentation, including but not limited to safety analysis, risk assessments, and compliance reports. Assist in the development and implementation of the company's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of operations. Participate in the design and development of new products, ensuring compliance considerations are incorporated from the outset. Work closely with product engineers to ensure ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes are compliant with relevant standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and standards, and provide guidance to the team on these changes. Lead training sessions on safety and compliance procedures for employees.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Compliance Engineering role. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, safety analysis, regulatory engineering, and ETL processes. Proven experience in conducting compliance audits and developing corrective action plans. Excellent knowledge of CE and UL regulations. Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and analyze complex engineering processes and designs. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex compliance information to a non-technical audience. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential compliance issues and develop effective solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed compliance records. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
