Summary:

Total Safety

is looking for a Merchandiser Coordinator that would be responsible for delivering and stocking VMI bins and industrial vending machines in remote locations on-site at our customer location in Austin, TX. In addition, the Onsite VMI Coordinator performs preventive maintenance and relocating vending bins and VMI racks as needed. You will also be required to drive a company vehicle at times for local deliveries.

Role qualifications :

Excellent customer service skillsHigh School Graduate or a GED equivalentMust have basic math and reading skillsAbility to pass drug and alcohol testSense of UrgencyPhysical ability to lift 50 lbs., stand or walk for long periods of timeBasic knowledge of tools and equipmentMechanical aptitude and housekeeping skillsProfessional and neat appearance and positive attitudeOrganizational skillsBasic computer knowledgeMathematical skillsExcellent telephone sales personality skills and clear communicationAbility to work independentlyAbility to multi-task and shift prioritiesPosition responsibilities:

Provide timely and accurate filling of daily orders and transfersMatch products on order by part numberMatch order quantity for each itemFollow labeling directions and requirements for each customerMaintain the overall cleanliness of inventoryPerform other related duties as assignedGreet customers and assist with customer inquiriesProvide excellent customer serviceScan and load order into computer systemClose and secure on-site storage at end of each work dayBuild positive customer relationshipsFulfill all customer needs by pulling product from warehouse as neededAbide by specific customer contract agreementsHandle cancellations or changes in VMI order and communicate changes with the related departmentsCoordinate with customers and related departments within the companyOn-call as neededPerform other related duties as requiredEssential skills and experience:
