Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionThis position has the responsibility to develop electromechanical systems, including design analysis, feasibility studies, mechanical models, prototype construction, as well as product introduction.Hard SkillsMechanical design of machine elements and mechanismsAnalysis of mechanical systems and machine elements for life, stress, deflection; and related software toolsAbility to document and present designs and analysis results for review to a technical audienceAbility to create mechanical part models, assemblies, drawings, and bills of materials using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)Experience Required:Preferably 10+ years experience in mechanical engineering roleIdeal candidate will have experience engineering precision robotics / mechanisms in the Semiconductor industryEngineering products that are used in an ultra-high vacuum environmentHands on experience building and testing prototype mechanical assembliesJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Wakefield, Massachusetts.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
