The Treasury Manager will be responsible for measuring and evaluating the nature of financial risks inherent to The Coca-Cola Company's operations and for developing and optimizing models to continuously mitigate the impact. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the global economic outlook and risk mitigation, The Company's balance sheet exposures, and commodity hedging while working cross-functionally with other finance associates.
The Corporate Treasury Department is a dynamic, fast-paced organization. As such, the ideal candidate will have a passionate interest in the financial markets, and an inherent curiosity and capability to statistically measure and analyze how activities in economic, regulatory, and political environments impact both the broader financial markets and The Coca-Cola Company's exposure within them.
Position Details:
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual
Individual contributor role - no direct reports
What You'll Do for Us:Analyze economic and market data to assess potential effects on foreign currency and other markets.Formulate, present, and implement risk management strategies using financial hedge instruments such as spot, forwards, options, and combination structures.Collaborate with International Treasury Services Managers to carry out cash repatriation strategies, ensuring liquidity within each country while meeting needs.Partner strategically with the business to develop a commodity risk management strategy for COGS inputs, packaging, and FX impact on COGS.Execute commodity derivative and FX hedging transactions globally for the Coca-Cola Company and its subsidiaries and owned bottlers.Acquire knowledge of domestic and international market dynamics and trading of futures, options, and swaps across various commodity markets.Continuously enhance processes, controls, and reporting within the Treasury Management System (Reval) for FX transactions and commodities.Cross-train to manage the company's Balance Sheet exposure, including collection, execution, and reconciliation of P&L risk related to specific programs.Support corporate finance groups with monthly financial reporting requirements for FX activity.Contribute to special projects that align with the long-term strategy of the Treasury Department.Oversee internal commodities and FX reporting to treasury leadership and other business units.Engage in special projects to further the long-term strategy of the treasury department.
Qualifications & Requirements:
This role requires an individual who can quickly gain expertise in foreign exchange and financial instruments to function successfully. A minimum of three years' experience in relevant treasury or finance roles is preferred. Additionally, a robust understanding of macroeconomics, financial principles, and business statistics is essential.
The candidate should possess strong MS Excel skills, particularly in quantitative analysis. Knowledge of Power BI and Python, or a willingness to learn these tools, is important. Experience with the Bloomberg terminal, CTP, or CFA designation is advantageous but not a requirement.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, statistics, or another related field is preferred.
