The BI team at Cloudflare is responsible for building and managing the cloud data analytics platform. Our focus is on developing a centralized cloud data analytics platform using open source technologies for internal Business Partners and Machine Learning teams. The team aims to make data more accessible, meet Cloudflare's critical business needs, and provide self-service reporting and analytics tools to support current and new business initiatives.About the Role

This role will report to BI Team and work closely with the Finance & BizOps team who is responsible for developing and maintaining key GTM metrics reporting and incubating new initiatives that cover across product, go-to-market and finance. This role will help develop analytics solutions and scale internal data processes. Success in this role comes from marrying a strong data background with acute business acumen and curiosity to deliver highly strategic and compelling insights.What you'll do

Partner closely with internal stakeholders to gain a strong grasp of business, finance, and product analytical needs.Fundamental understanding of the data landscape i.e., tooling, tech stack, source systems etc.Work closely with the Data Engineering team to improve the data collection and quality.Design, build and support data or insight solutions to drive decision-making and/or incubate new data capabilities or business programs. Example projects include but not limited to product adoption scoring, product performance reporting, variable billing forecasting, product costing and margin analysis and GTM metrics reporting automation.Present the insights in an audience relevant manner, with key takeaways and recommendations being presented in a crisp and concise manner.Deeply embedded in the Finance Biz Ops team and act as a technical advisor to the team in addressing data challenges and scaling solutions / programs from incubation stage to a longer-term high performing state.Examples of desirable skills, knowledge, and experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related experience required.5 + years of data analyst experience with 1+ years of proven industry experience in a large scale environment (PBs scale, globally distributed teams).Proven results oriented analysis that helped support positive change in the business strategy.2+ years experience with a fast-growing SaaS business based company is preferred.Strong experience in Python, R, SQL, Google BigQuery, Google Looker Studio or Tableau (or any other Big data/Cloud equivalent) etc.Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, zooming in with good attention to detail while still keeping the big picture in mind.Capable of working closely with business to ensure data initiatives are aligned with business needs and are of high quality.Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.For Colorado, Illinois, Maryland and Minnesota based hires: Estimated annual salary of $112,000 - $136,000.For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $129,000 - $136,000.For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $135,000 - $165,000.Equity
