Summary / ObjectiveAt Name.com, the product manager is an experienced product professional who will own the end-to-end product lifecycle. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving the success of your assigned products or product lines. You will define the product vision and strategy, and you will develop and execute a product roadmap that delivers value to customers while achieving key business goals. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful development and launch of products.This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Product Management.What You'll DoProduct DevelopmentDevelop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and releases based on market needs and business goals on a per project basisCreate product documents including scoping documents, functional specifications, and user-acceptance testing plansCreate and manage product backlogs, prioritizing features, and writing user storiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.Drive product launches/GTM in coordination with marketing effortsWork with senior product organization to plan future initiatives and assist in determining resourcingCollaborate with external vendors
Customer Focused approachConduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and customer needsConceive, develop, and run optimization tests across user flowsWork with finance and accounting in order to manage product pricing and positioning to maximize market share and profitabilityWork with UI/UX/Design to define product needs and create user flows and designs
Metrics and AnalysisDefine and track key product metrics to measure success, visualize appropriately, and identify areas for improvementEstablish and manage a data-driven approach to incremental experience improvementsPresent standard reporting to key stakeholders
Product StrategyDefine and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for your productConduct competitive research analysis to refine and guide productsCommunicate the goals and progress on functional roadmaps to product/eng/partners

Who You Are / What You BringBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, design, business administration, or relevant experience2+ years of product management experienceProven track record of successfully launching and managing productsExcellent communication skills that can be used to translate needs between business and technical audiencesCuriosity and willingness to learn about our industry and customer's needsCapable of planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research clearlyDemonstrate ability to write Business Requirements, Use Cases and User storiesSelf-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with individuals at all levels and across functionsStrong analytical skills and visualization expertise, with experience breaking down ambiguous problemsAbility to meet rigorous deadlines and balance multiple priorities, while maintaining high levels of productivity and detail orientationPassion for technology and a desire to learn and grow (Passion for Domains a plus)Experience with Agile development methodologiesKnowledge of UX design and web design principles and best practicesAbility to work across time zones as part of a global organization as neededReliable transportation to the workplace
Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary RangeThe U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $130,000 plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others.
