Technical Team Lead - 2nd and 3rd Shifts

For more than 100 years, the Oatey family of brands has included some of the most recognized names in residential and commercial plumbing products. We are seeking dedicated Technical Team Leads to join us at our manufacturing facility in Winchester, NH. You will assist in the coordination of various technical specialist duties, including injection molding and CNC machining, injection mold inspection, preventive maintenance and repair, industrial maintenance and related technical tasks. We have two openings, one on the 2nd shift and one on the 3rd shift.
Responsibilities:
Oversee floor operations and direct the team, with the ability to flex labor based on business need and maintain consistent workflow in all areas
Support and lead in maintaining quality control measures, monitoring individual and team productivity goals and promoting a safe, lean culture
As a working lead, perform injection mold processing, troubleshoot electrical processes, support production equipment and complete preventative maintenance requests
Support production by answering calls and assisting in changeovers and setups
Train new hires, technical trainees and apprentices in shop processes
Communicate operational priorities and customer requirements in a respectful manner and develop teamwork among production teams and shifts
Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in a technical manufacturing environment with lead position experience, including knowledge of both maintenance and electrical processes
2-year Career and Technical Education (CTE) diploma or equivalent experience in a technical manufacturing environment; Associate degree in electrical or mechanical field preferred
Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, digital electronics and PLC troubleshooting
Ability to read and understand blueprints and systems, including GD&T, ISO9001 and LEAN principles
Proficient in part inspection, including use of calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges and micrometers and height gauges
Knowledge of tools including common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments and other shop tools and equipment
Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, coaching, diplomacy and conflict resolution
Superior time and priority management skills with ability to meet deadlines
