Construction Litigation Attorney
to join their dynamic legal team.
Position Overview:As a Construction Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a variety of construction-related disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, deep knowledge of construction law, and a passion for representing clients in high-stakes cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation Representation:
Represent clients in all phases of construction-related litigation, including contract disputes, project delays, defect claims, and compliance issues.
Legal Research & Documentation:
Conduct thorough research and draft comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Case Management:
Oversee cases from inception through trial, including pre-trial preparation, depositions, and post-trial motions.
Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Provide clear, strategic legal advice on construction matters.
Stay Current:
Keep up-to-date on changes in construction law, regulations, and litigation trends to provide clients with the most informed counsel.
Qualifications:
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission:
Active membership in the California State Bar.
Experience:
2-7 years of experience in construction litigation or a related field. Transactional experience is a plus but not required.
Skills:
Strong understanding of construction law and industry practices. Excellent analytical, research, and writing abilities. Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters with attention to detail and efficiency.
Communication:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
