Our team is responsible for managing the Corporation’s liquidity of North and South American currencies at agent banks and cash settlement systems, such as the Federal Reserve. Additionally, our team manages cash projections of sweep activity for NTAM managed funds totaling over $200 billion on a daily basis.Major Duties:Oversee the daily liquidity needs of bank-sponsored Point in Time Money Market funds, Client Custom funds, and client deposits held at TNT.Manage the liquidity of the sweep funds intraday by estimating on an aggregate level the funding needed to support custody client activity and provide forecasting to Northern Trust Global Asset Management portfolio managers (NTAM).Manage the sweep fund’s late activity (deposits/withdrawals) or client’s idle cash that will impact the bank’s liquidity.Update Treasury Executives on changes in deposits for global and domestic clients.Maintain sufficient liquidity at our sub-custodians for Canada and various South American markets.Monitor/manage NT's Federal Reserve balance intraday to ensure adequate liquidity is available for funding needs and reserve requirements.Understanding of Operational Risk and Control practices.Ensure Control standards are being met and any risk issues escalated.Document any new procedure changes in a timely manner.Working Model:
