Building on its history of innovation, Carpenter's wrought and powder technology capabilities support a range of next-generation products and manufacturing techniques, including novel magnetic materials and additive manufacturing.CORPORATE LEAVE SPECIALIST II - BENEFITSLocation(s): Can be located at any of Carpenter Technology Corporation's sites.THE CORPORATE LEAVE SPECIALIST II - BENEFITS WILLPreserve confidentiality of employee medical documentation and follow all HIPAA/PHI guidelines.Under general supervision, administer Active Employee leave programs.Interpret and administer leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.).Provide various forms of assistance directly to employees in understanding and utilizing assigned benefit programs and return work procedures.Provide extensive case management and coordinate administrative aspects of the cases and claims.Work with HRBPs, managers, and supervisors regarding any employee leave issues, including analyzing results.Prepare the weekly short-term disability earning file and monitor short-term disability payments.Create and maintain process management in areas assigned.Assist in the maintenance of leave-related data in HRIS.Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.Recommend plan design and process improvement to manager.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CORPORATE LEAVE SPECIALIST II - BENEFITSHigh school diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.One or more years of leave administration experience (preferred) or 1.5+ years' experience in a rules-driven, data analytics environment. Workday experience is a plus.Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
