Environmental Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and collaborative Environmental Attorney to join its practice in Cincinnati. This position is designed for an attorney with a minimum of three years of experience in environmental law, ideally with a background in a law firm setting. The successful candidate will be committed to helping clients navigate complex environmental regulations and issues.DutiesProvide legal counsel on a wide range of environmental matters, including compliance, permitting, and regulatory issues.Represent clients in environmental disputes and negotiations, ensuring their interests are protected.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support environmental litigation and regulatory compliance efforts.Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and environmental assessments.Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective legal strategies tailored to specific environmental concerns.Stay updated on changes in environmental laws and regulations to provide timely and relevant advice to clients.RequirementsAt least three years of experience in environmental law.Experience working in a law firm environment is preferred.Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction and in good standing.SkillsExceptional legal research and writing capabilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
