The role involves advising clients on a wide range of tax aspects related to domestic and international transactions, investment funds, mergers & acquisitions, and more.Duties:Advise clients on tax implications of domestic and international merger & acquisition transactions.Provide counsel on tax aspects of private investment fund investments, formations, and transactional planning for companies and tax-exempt organizations.Draft, analyze, and negotiate tax-related documentation for private investment funds (e.g., limited partnership agreements, offering documents).Draft, analyze, and negotiate tax aspects of documentation for public or private mergers and acquisitions, financing, and other transactions.Mentor and review the work of junior associates to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and firm standards.Requirements:3-7 years of experience in a law firm environment focusing on complex US and international tax law matters.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in the state of California, or eligibility to quickly become admitted in that jurisdiction.Preferred Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Experience with tax planning and structuring for corporate transactions and investment funds.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in Tax Law (e.g., LL.M. in Taxation) is a plus.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1750 Montgomery St Fl 1San FranciscoCaliforniaUnited States 94111Phone :
