Associate Attorney Insurance Defense

A law firm seeks an experienced associate attorney to join its insurance defense team in Miami. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience handling litigation cases from inception to trial, particularly in the areas of Admiralty/Maritime law, Insurance Defense, and Workers' Compensation. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.Duties:Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, from case initiation through trial.Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence for insurance defense, maritime, and workers' compensation cases.Conduct discovery, and depositions, and engage in trial preparation.Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation.Provide legal counsel to clients regarding case progress and strategy.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently, including trial experience.Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Experience in Admiralty/Maritime law and Workers' Compensation is preferred.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Florida, in good standing.Skills:Proficiency in legal research, drafting litigation documents, and courtroom advocacy.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.Company infoBCG Attorney Search801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900MiamiFloridaUnited States 33131Phone :
