Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have a
deep understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
and a proven track record of facilitating agile practices within a team environment driving bold business outcomes.High degree of emotional intelligence, commitment to life-long learning and a mindset of relentless improvement.The Scrum Master
working closely with their team and the Release Train Engineer (RTE)
will be a servant leader and a coach for Agile teams.Their goal will be to educate the teams on Agile principles and best practices, help them maximize their productivity and self-organize to achieve committed Program Increment objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile Ceremonies:
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and productivity.Coach and Mentor:
Provide guidance and support to team members on agile practices and principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Coach and support Product Owner to effectively manage the backlog and maximize business value.Remove Impediments:
Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.Promote SAFe Practices:
Advocate for and implement SAFe principles and practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Collaborate with Stakeholders:
Work closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.Monitor and Report:
Track team progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.Foster Team Collaboration:
Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within a SAFe environment.
Certification:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
certification is required .
Other Required:
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly SAFe, and experience in applying them in a team setting.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
Technical Background:
Experience in software development or IT project management is a plus.Tools Proficiency:
Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira Cloud, Jira Align, Confluence, Miro or similar platforms.Adaptability:
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
