The Denial Resolution Specialist will be in constant communication with a variety of insurance companies for payment resolution. They must communicate persuasively, with a clear understanding of denial codes and reasons and help formulate responses to those denials. At LifeCare, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a life changing career, within a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and respect.What you’ll get to do in this role:Reviews EPIC WQ's to monitor claim denialsCommunicate with insurance carriers for the resolution and explanation of insurance denialsAnalyze reimbursement to assure proper payment according to insurance contractsPerforms retrospective and prospective account reviews and resolves coding edits to ensure accurate coding and documentation supporting reimbursementComprehensive understanding of insurance EOB'sReviewing claims, reporting denial trends, keeping detailed records of communications for claim processingDevelops suggestions for coding and documentation process improvements, based on denial analysis and payor requirementsAssists with preparation of reports and report analysis for reimbursement and utilization issuesSummarizes data and findings of denials and reports data to Revenue Cycle DirectorPerforms internal audits to ensure billing compliance and optimal reimbursementKnowledge of filing and tracking medical insurance appealsMust have excellent follow up and follow through skillsYou’re an excellent fit, if you have:Experience in the health insurance, related fieldsAbility to work independentlyGood attention to detailSkills to follow up and follow throughBenefits statement:LifeCare Medical Center offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying employees.
